Result of WWE Friday Night Smackdown 29/5/09, Los Angeles, California, USA:
- The Intercontinental Champion Rey Mysterio came to address at the ring side, few minutes later, Y2J Chris Jericho also appeared at the ring to talk to Rey.
- The first match was the tag team match between the team of the Great Khali and R-Truth vs. the team of Dolph Ziggler and Mike Knox. The team of the Great Khali and R-Truth got the victory.
- The second match was the Divas match between WWE Women's Champion Melina vs. Alicia Fox. The winner was the WWE Women's Champion Melina.
- Next, Jeff Hardy came out to have address to WWE fans as he claimed that he would climb the latter to become the new World Heavy Weight Champion at the coming Extreme Rules.
- The third match was the match of Umaga vs. John Morrison. The winner was John Morrison. It was the disqualification match. Because, at the end Umaga used his strap to fight John Morrison as he will use it at Extreme Rules with CM Punk. CM Punk also came to help John Morrison, then Umaga run away.
- The fourth match was the tag team match between the team of Cryme Tyme and the team of Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas. The team of Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas got the victory.
- The fifth match was the Divas match of Eve Torres vs. Layla. The winner of the match was Eve Torres.
- The sixth match was the last match at the main event. The tag team match between the team of Jeff Hardy and Rey Mysterio vs. the team of Edge and Chris Jericho. This match was really strange and interesting match, because it became the 2 on 1 match. Jeff Hardy was alone at the ring because Rey Mysterion was no condition to join the team with Jeff Hardy due to Rey was attacked by Chris Jericho before the match taken placed. So the match became 2 on 1, Edge and Chris Jericho vs. Jeff Hardy. Could Jeff win the match? The answer is NO, Jeff was beated by the two full of tricks superstars.
